I have used 4t Tray Minimizer for quite a while under Windows XP, and I found it a really useful piece of software.
I have now upgraded to Windows 7, however, and when I came to re-install Minimizer I went online for a new copy. Sadly, it affected the Internet Explorer 8 installation in Windows 7 and I had to uninstall Minimizer.
Upon uninstall, I received notice of a new 'Win7 Compatible' version, 4t-min520RC1, which I have download but not yet installed.

Works great! Great program! But it can't tray autocad 2009. But neither can any other program so first one to do that wins!

Great software, nothing more i can ask for. But under Vista, it cannot send to tray programs that are started in Administrator mode. For that, it also need to be started in Administrator mode. Apart from this one glitch, this is a perfect software, Kudos to the developers! :)

Very good!

This tool is exactly what I was looking for. It run very well, without problem. The options are very rich and let me use it as I wanted. Definitively a must to have!

Hi 4t,
Yes, I downloaded this little program. It is still in the computer and working. I took it as a workaround for the Skype icon, that keeps disappearing.
I think the human interface quite extensive and difficult. I would like to have an interface for dummies.
I do not know exactly what the extra 2 buttons are; we've got in the top right corner.
One thing is sure the green Skype icon in the system tray is as steady as a rock.

Exactly what I wanted

I downloaded this program to use with Thunderbird and it works perfectly. Now I can have my email client open all the time without it really being open.

Agreat program

Hi,I have used your program for about 4 days and I'm very impressed.Good program,the extra 2 blocks appear next to minimize square one only has to click on one and it either hides the window or minimizes it to the system tray.Thanks fot the great work.!!

Perfect little utility

Keeps my taskbar clean, with only the apps I'm working with right now. Everything else goes in the tray for quick access. Plus, the memory footprint is less than 2MB. Great job, guys.

A very good and usefull tool

Hi, I started to use 4tray yesterday and I´ve just found it very usefull. I´m a multitask user and everytime my taskbar is full so it creates anotehr page and another. Some programs must be openned everytime so now I can get rid o´them. One click they disappear without closing it. Two clicks and they´re back. I´m using it in the free version yet but I´ll think about the paid one. Thanks 2 these good people who understand that a free version is more attractive and respectable than a shareware. Thanks.

Exactly What I Wanted!

On a whim one day I was wondering if it was possible to better organize my task bar by minimizing to the system tray.

Within minutes of downloading this application I had not only been able to minimize to the system tray, but I could also minimize to the applications window and then put the application into the system tray!

Very good program to help organize the task bar!

And best of all, its free!

3D Animation workstation

I work simultaneously with Blender 3D, The Gimp, FarmerJoe Renderfarm, Email, Skype and various other software. Being able to minize several remote desktops to the system tray allows me to manage my workspace much more effectively. This software was exactly what I was looking for.

A++++ It Rocks!

Hey Guys,

This program rocks, it does everything is says it will and best of all it's free! You can Minimize Folders, Programs and even Notepad and Windows Media Player to the tray.

Just what I was looking for, I definitely recommend this program.
